My payment was declined. What should I do?
Why payments get declined
If your payment isn't going through, here are the most common reasons and solutions.
Common reasons for declined payments
Insufficient funds
Make sure you have enough money in your account
Check if your card has available credit
Incorrect card details
Double-check the card number
Verify the expiration date
Make sure the CVV code is correct
Confirm your billing address matches your card
Card restrictions
Some cards don't allow international payments
Check with your bank about international transaction settings
Prepaid cards sometimes don't work for subscriptions
Bank security blocks
Banks sometimes flag new online services as suspicious
Your bank may have blocked the transaction for security
This is especially common with first-time purchases
Expired or canceled card
Check if your card is still active
Verify it hasn't expired
Try these solutions
1. Verify your card details
Go back to the payment page and carefully re-enter:
Card number (no spaces)
Expiration date (MM/YY format)
CVV/security code (3-4 digits on back of card)
Billing zip code (must match your card's billing address)
2. Try a different payment method
We accept:
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Debit cards
Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum)
If your card isn't working, crypto instead.
3. Contact your bank
This is the most common fix!
Call your bank or card issuer and:
Tell them you're trying to make a legitimate purchase at ourdream.ai
Ask if they blocked an international transaction
Request they approve charges from ourdream.ai
Some banks require you to confirm the transaction via app/SMS
After your bank approves it, try the payment again.
4. Check if international transactions are enabled
Many banks block international payments by default.
To enable international transactions:
Log in to your online banking
Look for "Card Controls" or "Security Settings"
Enable "International Transactions"
Or call your bank to activate this feature
5. Try a different browser
Sometimes browser issues cause payment problems:
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Try using an incognito/private window
Or switch to a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
6. Check your billing address
Your billing address must match exactly what your bank has on file.
Common mistakes:
Using abbreviations (use "Street" not "St.")
Wrong zip code
Apartment/unit numbers in wrong field
Old address if you've recently moved
7. Wait and try again
If you've tried multiple times quickly:
Wait 30-60 minutes before trying again
Multiple failed attempts can trigger additional security blocks
Your bank may need time to reset
Special cases
Using a VPN?
Try disabling your VPN temporarily
Some payment processors flag VPN usage
Cryptocurrency payments
Make sure you're sending the exact amount requested
Use the correct blockchain network
Crypto payments can take 15+ minutes to confirm
Check the transaction on a blockchain explorer
