Prompt basics

What makes a good prompt:

  • Clear and specific descriptions

  • Relevant details about style, mood, and composition

  • Concrete nouns and active verbs

  • Appropriate length (not too short, not too long)

What to avoid:

  • Vague or ambiguous language

  • Contradictory instructions

  • Overly complex or long prompts

  • Prohibited content (see content guidelines)

Prompt structure tips

Be specific about what you want

❌ Bad: "A person"
✅ Good: "A young woman with long dark hair, smiling, outdoor setting, natural lighting"

Include style and mood

❌ Bad: "A landscape"
✅ Good: "A serene mountain landscape at sunset, warm colors, photorealistic style"

Use descriptive details

❌ Bad: "A car"
✅ Good: "A red sports car, side view, city street background, dramatic lighting"

Quality improvement tips

For better image quality:

  • Specify desired style (photorealistic, anime, artistic, etc.)

  • Mention lighting conditions (natural, dramatic, soft, etc.)

  • Include composition details (close-up, wide shot, etc.)

  • Reference specific moods or atmospheres

For better video quality:

  • Describe the main action clearly

  • Keep prompts focused on single scenes

  • Specify camera angles if relevant

  • Mention pacing (slow motion, dynamic, etc.)

Consistency tips

To get similar results across generations:

  • Use similar prompt structure

  • Keep key descriptive words consistent

  • Reference previous successful prompts

  • Save prompts that work well

Note: Due to AI generation variability, results will never be 100% identical, but consistency improves with practice.

Common prompt mistakes

1. Too vague: "Something cool" - AI needs specific direction

2. Contradictory: "Bright dark scene" - conflicting instructions confuse the AI

3. Too complex: Extremely long prompts with too many details can reduce quality

4. Wrong expectations: AI has limitations - some concepts generate better than others

Examples of effective prompts

Portrait: "Close-up portrait of a person with warm smile, soft natural lighting, blurred background, professional photography style"

Landscape: "Mountain valley at golden hour, mist rolling through trees, vibrant autumn colors, cinematic composition"

Action: "Person jumping in the air, dynamic motion, urban rooftop setting, sunset lighting, energetic mood"

Character: "Anime style character, confident expression, detailed outfit, colorful background, modern aesthetic"
